"Countdown to Day 36 of 100 Days!"
The prelude is about to unfold!

The Last Painter of the Early Florentine School in the European Renaissance
Botticelli's artistic talent was appreciated by the Medici family, and the core of his works has always been about philosophy, love, and the beauty of life.
When Botticelli's artistic career began, the Renaissance was emerging in Florence, and humanism and rational science were starting to form a new worldview. At that time, the prominent Medici family strongly supported philosophy, art, literature, etc., creating social tolerance and cultural prosperity in Florence. It was in such a social environment that Botticelli created the two world-famous masterpieces best known to later generations: Spring and The Birth of Venus.
His paintings, with their elegant style, bright colors, and light, smooth lines, are truly unique among the great masters of the Renaissance.

Currently housed in the Uffizi Gallery, Florence, Italy
Scene: The goddess Venus emerging from the sea.
The painting depicts a beautiful legend of Sicily: a stunning large shell floats on the rippling blue sea, upon which stands the pure and beautiful Venus. The wind gods soaring in the sky gently blow the shell to the shore, where the goddess of spring waits, unfolding a red embroidered cloak to dress Venus in new attire. Venus has a slender figure and a beautiful countenance, her eyes gazing into the distance, filled with fantasy, confusion, and sorrow.
The Birth of Venus embodies the Neo-Platonic philosophical trend popular in Florence at the time:Beauty cannot be gradually perfected or emerge from non-beauty. Beauty can only be self-complete, incomparable, and an eternal existence without birth or decay.

Through the depiction of Venus' sentimental expression and graceful posture, the painting presents a complex, contradictory yet poetically beautiful image. In the artwork, Venus is manifested by the artist in a form of beauty.
The painting also reflects Botticelli's unique ingenuity in composition and brushwork. The figures of the wind god, flower goddess, and Hours (goddesses of the seasons) together form a semicircular frame, with Venus positioned exactly at the center, making the entire composition appear unified and complete.
The painter employs various contrasts—male vs. female bodies, clothed vs. nude figures, upright tree trunks vs. soft contours—to reveal the rhythm and melody of beauty. The artist strives to emphasize Venus' elegance and purity, especially through her flowing golden hair and the super-natural human proportions, which infuse the painting with a romantic sentiment.
This image of Venus has since been hailed as an epitome of the Renaissance spirit.

The romance and poetry of Venus in Botticelli's works still flow in Florence's artistic long river. From July to August this year, the third stop of Mr. Keyang Wu's international tour exhibition will grandly open in this capital of art for a month. With a unique artistic perspective and exquisite craftsmanship, Keyang Wu will bring the charm and elegance of Oriental art to Florence. We sincerely invite all art enthusiasts to visit Florence and attend this art feast across time and space, experiencing the wonderful spark of collision between Eastern and Western art!
