"It has the style of Picasso!"
"A perspective that can only be obtained at an altitude of 5,000 meters!"
Academician Peng, a top Chinese scientist,
made such remarks after looking at Keyang Wu's pen sketch Flying Birds.

The pen sketch Flying Birds
was created by Keyang Wu on March 28, 2023.
The forms of the flying birds in the work are somewhat indistinct.
The abstract treatment breaks through the shackles of the concrete.
The picture not only presents the dynamic tension of the birds flapping their wings,
but also freezes the tranquility of the moment amidst the interweaving of the virtual and the real,
just like the dialectical thinking in Tao Te Ching that "Strive for the utmost emptiness and hold fast to stillness and firmness."

Where the flying birds pass by, a spiritual realm reveals itself.
Mr.Wu once said,
"Art is the developer of the soul."
In Flying Birds,
what we see is not just an experiment in technique.
It is also the spiritual expedition of a Chinese artist who uses the universal language
to tell the story of Oriental wisdom.
