Part 2
The city of the Renaissance
Florence is located in the center of the Italian Peninsula. It is the heart of Italian scholarship and culture, the cradle of art and culture, and also a crossroads of history. The "Renaissance" movement, which led Europe out of the dark era of the Middle Ages that suppressed human nature, originated right here in Florence.
The origin of the Renaissance can be traced back to Florence in the late 13th century. Especially in the works of Dante, Petrarch and the paintings of Giotto, we can find the embryonic form of this concept.
Today, the Renaissance is the result of the integration of diverse cultures. It is not merely a characteristic of an era, but also an important milestone in the development of human civilization.

Florence is a city in central Italy. It once had a more distinctive "artistic" name — Firenze.
Firenze, this name is just like a beautiful poem, and Florence is the most touching chapter in this poem. From the 13th century to the 15th century, it has always been the most renowned art center in Europe, and many great masters of art have left their footprints here.

Then, what is the charm of Florence, which is closely bound up with the Renaissance?
Dante, the great pioneer of the Renaissance, the scientist Galileo, and artistic giants such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Donatello...all lived here. Florence can be regarded as a unique specimen left over from that great era. It has given birth to countless brilliant painters, sculptors, and architects for Europe and even the whole world, as well as exquisitely beautiful artworks and palaces.
Of course, the glory of Florence is by no means limited to the 14th and 15th centuries. In the 15th and 16th centuries, with its booming economy, Florence was a must-visit city for European merchants and artists during their travels in Italy.
Later, it became an essential stop for European scholars, art enthusiasts, and nobles during their "Grand Tours." Nowadays, it is a great city that we can never bypass when we seek to understand the history of European humanities, art, science, religion, and more.
In this art - rich Florence, every brick and tile tells a story. Hong Kong Tairan Culture and Art, together with Mr. Wu Keyang, an oil painter, is about to kick off the third stop of the international tour in Florence in 2025.
We sincerely invite you to, at that time.
Encounter this eternal city of art again amidst colors and lights and shadows.
