In the Tuscany region of Italy, Florence is like an open-air architectural museum, exuding a charming allure everywhere.
Its history can be traced back to before Christ. It laid the basic layout during the Roman colonial period, and after being refined in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, it gradually formed its unique style. Over the long course of time, buildings of different styles have shone brightly here, jointly narrating the stories of the past.
As a monument of the republican regime, the Florence Cathedral is a landmark that should not be missed. The octagonal dome is truly remarkable. With an inner diameter of 43 meters and a height of more than 30 meters, the total height including the spire and the tower pavilion reaches 107 meters. The huge dome relies on a complex framework. The lower half is constructed with stones, and the upper half is built with bricks. A drum base with a height of 12 meters was specially built under the dome to make it more prominent. This cathedral broke through the restrictions of the church and is widely recognized as the pioneering work of Italian Renaissance architecture.

The Uffizi Gallery is equally renowned. It houses a large number of famous paintings from the Renaissance period. Wandering through it, one can almost feel as if having a conversation with art masters such as Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci. The Pitti Palace is a masterpiece of Mannerism. It is made of rough square stones throughout, and the windows of the main building on the front are unique. The Boboli Gardens complement it perfectly, showcasing the beauty of the integration of nature and architecture.
The Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, one of the largest churches in Italy, is famous for its magnificent octagonal red dome. This dome, designed by Brunelleschi, is not only a wonder in the history of architecture but also a symbol of Florence.

The Campanile di Giotto and the Baptistery complement the cathedral beautifully, jointly forming the magnificent landscape of the Florence Cathedral Square. In addition, numerous buildings such as the Basilica of Santa Croce and the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte also carry the history and culture of Florence. They have witnessed the rise and fall, as well as the changes of this city, and have become eternal symbols of art and history.
